I think that this type of gam,e would be PERFECT for a 90's Batman story adaptation. Knightfall, Prodigal, or (especially) No Man's Land would perfectly suit that sort of gameplay! NML even had maps that they'd show after a major shift in the divisions of the city (there were the Blue Boys [GCPD], Batman, the Demonz and the Loboyz [two warring gangs], and then three of the villains: Penguin had the center of the city, Poison Ivy had Robinson [Central] Park, and Two-Face had territory near the courthouse.

i think you misunderstood. not a party with his costumed villains but with the crooked business people and even cops. you know? he's been invited many times to sal maroni's or carmine falcone's parties as bruce wayne. and just like in the comics he uses those opportunities to get some inside info on their dirty schemes.

I think Christian Bale should wear Michael Keaton's batsuits from 1989 and 1992 as well Val Kiler's batsuit from 1995 and George Clooney's batsuit from 1997.

You have a very good point regarding the TAS version(s) of The Riddler. But the purpose of my feature was to see how comic book characters have been translated to live action movies/tv shows. And in any case, The Riddler character I had seen in the comics as a kid was still very much akin to a poor man's Joker so I guess much credit goes to Bruce Timm, Paul Dini and the lot for re-inventing the Riddler for the Animated Series

While I agree with a lot of what you said, I think you're a little hard on the Riddler. While Frank Gorshin's portrayal brought him out of obscurity it's actually a lot closer to the Joker's personality than Riddler's. Just as you wouldn't judge the characters of Two Face and Poison Ivy by Schumacher's representation nor should you judge the Riddler. Again, he was played far too much like a poor man's Joker than a unique character. In the comics, and Batman TAS (the original early 90s version, not including any of the remodelled characters, back when Riddler wore a suit, Robin was Dick Greyson etc.) Riddler is portrayed completely differently from the Joker, he's a smooth talking intellectual, who prefers battles of intellect to violence and even tries to be a legitimate detective at one point. Done properly *cough* save him Nolan *cough* he can be a fascinating character.

[...] unknown wrote an interesting post today onHere’s a quick excerpt I find it simultaneously annoying and amusing that many people think Blu-Ray movies have made it into the pirated market. It’s not bad enough that the illegitimate copies now bear the Blu-Ray branding and packaging, but the vendors even insist to unassuming consumers that what they are purchasing are real Blu-Ray copies and they will be watching Blu-Ray movies on their DVD players at home. There are a few points to raise here. First of all, DVD players, no matter how new, cannot play Blu-Ray discs (BD). That’s like trying to get your vinyl record turntable to play CDs. You know, square peg - round hole? It ain’t gonna happen. Secondly, to actually make a perfect carbon copy of a Blu-Ray movie, one would need a blank BD to burn it onto. Currently, writable dual layer BDs costs upwards of US$40.00 each and these so called pirated Blu-Ray movies are […] [...]

well I think Joker is very open to interpretation. Depending on the era of the book you read and the author, Joker has been portrayed as a vicious murderer, a comical crime lord, and a straight out nutjob. Like I mentioned in the blog, I love what Heath Ledger brought to the plate but I am also a big fan of Jack Nicholson's very comic-faithful version in the 1989 Batman movie.
